Through Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, I guide my clients in understanding and working through challenges like anxiety, depression, perfectionism, trauma responses, grief, and other ways we can feel stuck. As a trained IFS therapist, I help you develop a deeper understanding of your internal parts, bringing more compassion and healing to past wounds and difficult emotions. Together, we work toward creating lasting transformation and restoring balance within your inner system.
Lifespan Integration is a somatic-based therapy designed to help regulate and calm the nervous system. When we experience trauma, parts of our brain can go offline, resulting in "fragmented memories" that often contribute to intense emotional triggers. Through Lifespan Integration, I help clients soothe these trigger memories, allowing them to regain control and no longer be overwhelmed or disabled by them.
With my experience working in hospital and hospice settings, I bring a deep understanding of both the complexities of medical care and the trauma that can sometimes be unintentionally caused to patients during their treatment. In my work with clients, we focus on finding empowerment, challenging and resetting expectations, and creating practical strategies to navigate the challenges of a changing body.
Grief is one of the most challenging experiences to navigate, yet it’s also one of the most universal parts of being human. The loss of a loved one can feel like the world has been turned upside down, and losing a job or a marriage can strike at the very core of our identity. In working with clients through grief, we explore this difficult journey together, finding practical ways to cope with the pain and care for the emotional wounds that arise.
This is a virtual grief group held using the group chat format. The purpose is to provide a space for those grieving the loss of somebody by death. It is not designed to take the place of therapy, but rather it is a place of community and support, to feel less alone in your grief experience.
